What it is
Delivered where it is needed
Mesotherapy places a prepared compound of vitamins, minerals and active ingredients directly into the scalp, at the depth of the hair follicles, using very fine needles.
The reasoning is one of delivery. Taken by mouth, such substances reach the scalp only in whatever quantity the circulation happens to deliver; injected locally, they are placed where they are meant to act.
A session takes a short time and needs no recovery. Tenderness and slight redness on the day are usual and settle quickly.

What to expect of it
Mesotherapy supports follicles that are present. It does not replace lost hair, and it is not an alternative to a transplant where the follicle is gone.
It is frequently combined with PRP or LLLT, and the combination is decided from the trichoscopic finding rather than offered as a package.
As with all retention treatments, the effect is maintained by continuing treatment. Hair loss driven by hormones and genetics does not stop of its own accord.
A mesotherapy treatment is 65,000 Ft. The number of sessions follows from the examination.

How is it different from PRP?
PRP uses a concentrate prepared from your own blood. Mesotherapy uses a prepared compound of vitamins and active ingredients. Both are delivered into the scalp with fine needles, and they are often used in the same plan.
How many sessions will I need?
It is given as a course, with sessions spaced over weeks. The number depends on the trichoscopic finding and on the response, which is measured by repeating the examination rather than by impression.
Is there any recovery period?
No. The scalp may be tender and slightly red on the day. Ordinary activity can continue immediately.
