Privacy policy

The essentials, in one paragraph

The website consists of static pages. There is no advertising tracker, social media pixel or profiling on it. A cookie is placed only if you set something — for example, if you switch animations off — and that data stays in your browser. Personal data is requested in exactly one place: the enquiry form. The details of that are set out in the separate data processing notice.

This is a translation for convenience. In case of any discrepancy the Hungarian version of this document prevails.

1. The controller

2. What data we process

The enquiry form. The form on the contact page allows a name, contact details and — optionally — information about medical history to be given. That data falls within the special category under Article 9 GDPR, so its processing rests on separate, explicit consent. The details are set out in the data processing notice.

Server logs. The system serving the website keeps a technical log of requests, as every web server does (IP address, timestamp, path requested, browser identifier). The purpose is to keep the service running and to filter out abuse such as automated attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. These logs are retained for a short period and are not linked to data given on the form.

Local settings in your browser. If you switch animations off, or close an informational dialog, your browser stores that decision in localStorage. If you begin filling in the enquiry form, the text you enter stays in browser memory until you close the page (sessionStorage), so that an accidental refresh does not discard your work. This data does not reach us and cannot identify you.

Cookies. The website uses no marketing or analytics cookies and runs no advertising or social media trackers. That is why no cookie consent banner appears: there is no processing for which consent would need to be requested.

3. Processors

The following providers are used in the course of processing. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in force with each of them:

• Hosting provider and content delivery network — serving the website and protecting it against abuse.
• Google Workspace — the clinic's email account, which receives the enquiries.
• Protection against automated form submission — establishing whether the form is being completed by a person. The solution has no access to the contents of the form fields.

4. External links and embedded content

The website may link to external sites, for example those of professional bodies or scientific publications. Once such a site is opened its own data processing applies, for which we cannot accept responsibility. The map is not an automatically loaded embed: it contacts an external provider only if you select it.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• ask whether we process data about you and, if so, to receive a copy of it (Article 15);
• request rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16);
• request erasure of your data (Article 17);
• request restriction of processing (Article 18);
• request your data in a portable format (Article 20);
• object to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21);
• withdraw your consent at any time — which does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal (Article 7(3)).

6. Remedies

If you consider that your rights have been infringed in the course of processing, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information: Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11. You may also bring proceedings before a court if your rights are infringed.

7. Amendment of this policy

We update this policy when the legal environment or our operations change. The date of the version in force appears at the top of the page.
